Analysis: The wealth of names beginning outside the top 10 on Sunday makes this a bit more complicated than previous weeks. Do you risk the use? Who is worth saving? It’s a delicate balance where owners need to evaluate risk .
I’m rolling with half my original lineup. Logano has been strong with this race package — top-two finishes at Las Vegas and Fontana. Blaney had a solid 10-lap average, he’s a hot series with three top-five finishes in a row and contains three straight top-six finishes in the repaved Texas track. Even though he capable 30th, I am sticking with Kurt Busch but placing him in my own garage. I enjoy his recent Texas results a lot — four straight top 10s, such as where I’m on his use and I like his results with this bundle. He qualified 25th or worse at Las Vegas and Fontana but scored just two top-six endings along with an average of 33.0 points in those races. An added plus of rostering Kurt: He is not a distinct popular drama right now based on possession.
The developments to my lineup begin with the pole sitter Jimmie Johnson. Can I feel comfortable with this? Not entirely based upon the 2019 body of work so far, but I haven’t used him yet, I guess that he ought to be in a position to receive some point points and he has been fast all weekend emphasized by his topping the 10-lap plank in final practice. I placing Keselowski in my lineup as I go all on Penske without a surprise of a single Steve Letarte (why check one when you are able to assess all three). He’d the fourth-best 10-lap typical in final clinic and again, Penske has this package dialed in
Which explains the reason I am quite bullish on this team.
My last spot was between Elliott, Kyle Larson, Daniel Suarez and Denny Hamlin. Larson has the worst starting spot of the four but had the very best 10-lap average along with a powerful 15-lap average too (h/t @MikeJoy500). Suarez qualified nicely, but I already feel like I’m taking a risk with“Seven-Time.“ Hamlin has been better than most four with this bundle, but he’s overall Texas body of work isn’t good, so that leaves me with Elliott. I enjoy the starting spot and the background he has had at Texas — a fairly consistent top-10 automobile here, so he gets the nod.
Because I’m all in on Penske, I will be maintaining the 2018 Large 3 trio of Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. on the sidelines as a tradeoff. Do not need to be stuck playing one of the big boys if they are having just an ordinary day. Busch is so good at Bristol and Richmond that he will maintain my lineup in the coming weeks, I think we haven’t seen the 4 team’s best yet and Truex has many very good tracks coming up in the next month — Richmond, Dover and Kansas.
