Black Dog Cubik?

Stranger! If you come through
these countries, watch out for the Black Dogs. And if you pass by my
house, get yourself a rest, kick up a drink, have a smoke, and listen to
the story I have to tell.
It started in the mud of the streets, like
all things do… Well, at least most things. In the towns and quaint
villages of Spain he has been a legend for a long time, the black stray
dog Cubik. But when shit was coming down from heaven like rain, he
packed his stuff and wandered through Europe, until he ended up in Upper
Austria. It’s just a few corners away from here, Stranger, where he met
Drazen and Klaus for the first time and where they became friends.
Finish your beer and I’ll take you to the places, where the tales were
born.
But Cubik disappeared the same way he has shown up, overnight,
without a trace, and leaving everything behind, particularly
inspirations and stories and the great thoughts and spirits of a dog.
Everyone thought this would be the end of the myth of Cubik. No, Sir, by
no means. This was the beginning of the legacy of the Black Dog Cubik.

Because: Before Cubik left, he banned a part of his soul in an old,
rotten bone and he buried this bone in our wide woods. And some years
later this soul began to call for its followers, and those who were
meant to hear it, heard it. There was Levi, the Black Dog from Slovakia,
who left his gipsy camp to find the calling bone. There was Pirja, the
Black Dog from Hungary, the crazy queen of the eastern streets. There
was Pikey, the young Greyhound, with the insane heart of a warrior. And
there were Drazen and Klaus, the old pals of Cubik. They all met at the
mystic place of Cubiks bone. And in a secret and bloody ceremony, during
which Pirja sacrificed her right foreleg, they were awakening the soul
of Cubik and a lightning came down and hit them. Black Dog Cubik was
reborn.
Drazen took his guitar and Klaus took his harp and with the
howling voice of Cubik they started to play their Dirty Ol` Slide Dog
Blues, accompanied by the three other dogs. They hit the fucked up pubs
and the filthy bars, they screamed and sang on the shitty and the good
things in life, they rumbled through the streets. And until now they
haven’t stopped and I’m sure, Stranger, they never will.
We sing and
drink on our past!
